I have a friend who I love very much who has always encouraged me to use this space, but I've never found the rhythm. Being at home in San Francisco or out "in-the-field" when I'm in the Congo, I haven't been able to convince myself to spend the extra time on the computer that blogging entails. But grad school here in boston is half way in between home and away and certainly all about computer time. So, not to jinx myself, but i'm going to try it out again.
